Most are on 1/2 to acre lots if like yard work?
I’m just trying to inform you, the old section didn’t lose power for too long. Pine Ridge had the lengthy power outage of about a week. I think sections of Citrus Grove lost their internet for 13 days. The lots are mostly mowed by contractors in Citrus Hills. It happens though. No place is hurricane proof.

We are in Pine Ridge and out power was out for about 10 hours, not days. During a Hurricane several years back we were without power for about 24hours.

The official elevation of Citrus Hills is 115 ft. Official elevation of The Villages is 52 ft. That's only 53 ft different. I'm sure there are parts of both that are higher and lower. Highest elevation in the state is 345 ft, up in the panhandle near De Funiak Springs.

The adiabatic lapse rate for temperature change with elevation is 4 degrees F for each 1000 ft. Even if parts of Citrus Hills are actually 250 ft higher, the average difference in temperature would only be 1 degree.

No, that is not the adiabatic lapse rate, that is the typical atmospheric lapse rate. You don't want to use the adiabatic lapse rate. BTW, I already addressed the issue in an earlier post (#4)

marvin, you've been "thinking about" moving to The Villages since at least 2016, when you first started posting. So you've had at least 9 years to come visit, take a vacation here, check things out, and decide if it's the right place for you. You've chosen instead to just - stay put. Which is fine, but I'm just curious what it is, exactly, that you want from people on this forum? You keep asking questions about age and dogs, and now you're asking about a completely different community in a completely different county, and claiming your question is about the elevation in comparison to the elevation of The Villages, and a possible 4 degree difference in temperature?

That's - pretty specific. It's like asking if there's any property in The Villages that allows people to paint their houses a very specific shade of off-white, because that is somehow - important.
