Thumbs up Steve Hartman. On The Road. CBS Evening News.

How a stranger's plea turned into a friendship and a publishing enterprise - CBS News

Really liked this "On the Road" segment from last night. And its little details.

Some of his other segments were over the past few years have been very good.

And he seems to be very empathetic to the people he talks to which I like. He talks with them rather than at them.

I really hate how after every tragedy some journalists stick a microphone into the victims faces and badger them with stupid questions. Some are just vultures. Steve is a great guy, kind and respectful.

He seemed to be the only reporter the Parkland survivors wanted to talk to when that tragedy had just happened. And he met with them.

I am such a fan of this amazing man Steve Harvey. He knows how to talk to people, little and big and has a genuine caring attitude and such a sense of humor with his "pregnant pause" like Jack Benny.

Every night when the news makes us angry, we switch to Family Feud to become happy again and breathe.

He's our man Steve "Hahvey".

Steve Harvey does have a way with people and he is doing a lot of shows on television.

The thread is about Steve Hartman though.
