We did a few years back and for the most part it was a pleasurable trip. The last bus trip took longer than it should as the driver made many many stops along the way and at each stop he would haul out all the wonderful snacks that were packed down in the understorage and everyone enjoyed their treats before re-entering the bus. Since then, we have driven ourselves and it has been great to have our vehicle to do as we please. We love the Biloxi area and Gulfport as well. It's a 500 mile trip but the route is easy and a pleasant ride.

I wish I had known about it as I live only 60 miles away and go there all the time. It would have been nice to meet some Villagers there. Please let me know of the next trip. How does one find out?
Which casinos did you go to and which did you stay at?

Several different companies offer that trip, or one very similar. I have tried it several times and always found it enjoyable. Just make sure you read the "fine print" as at least one company has "required casino visits" (I never used that one). On some others, there are no required casino visits but to get all the free play and free meals they offer, you do have to go with the group to other casinos - but that is not bad, just something to know. Typically, buses leave 7 to 8 AM and arrive in Biloxi 3 to 4 PM local time (one hour time difference though). Bus stops usually about every two hours - morning and afternoon 15-20 minute rest/stretch stop and one hour lunch stop. Sunday Travel Section in The Daily Sun always has three or four Biloxi bus trip offers in it. I enjoy it more than driving myself.

A few years ago four couples took the trip with Go Classic Tours out of Mt. Dora. It was a lot of fun and reasonably priced for all you got. Our bus driver allowed us to bring our coolers of snacks and "beverages" on the bus with us plus there was bingo and a movie on the bus. Beau Rivage is a lovely property to stay at and the Mississipppi Gulf Coast is one of the most beautiful and wonderful places on earth

Also the Isle of Capri is now owned by Golden Nugget of Nevada fame. It's also very nice and remodeled. I do like the Island View as well. Last month at the IP, we saw 3 Dog Night and Blood, Sweat and Tears in concert. This month is Steppenwolf. Thanks to all for responding.
