Default Any Memorable Restaurants Around Clermont?

On Saturdays in January, LakeRidge winery in Clermont offers its Music Series, featuring live bands on an outdoor stage. Does anyone have suggestions for dinner in or around Clermont--to complete the experience?

Haven't been there for a while but thought it was above average. A number of good comments if you Google it. Suggest a phone call to check on hours and to make sure they are still in business.

Thanks, Kelly's Brickhouse Pub's web site with menu looks like it will be an excellent choice. I read several reviews and all were pretty positive.

Kind of off the subject but there is a great doughnut place "Donut King" on route 27 at the Mineoloa/Clermot line. Yummmm, Honey Dipped Jelly!

There is an unbelievable custard homemade ice cream place in Clarmont on Rt 50 across from Lowes, (in that area) called Ritter's.

4 of us went to Kelly's the other night and had a great time. There was an awesome guitarist. It was "Open Mike Night". Food was really good. Beer kept flowing. Luckily we had a designated driver in our group!

Visited LakeRidge Winery Sat afternoon as planned. It was a chilly day with a steady 30 mph breeze. The tour consists of a 15 minute video describing the history of wine making in FL and LakeRidge's origin near Tallahassee in an upstairs theater, and a wine tasting downstairs with thimble-size plastic cups. I am primarily a beer guy and so maybe not the best judge of good wine. However, no one in our group thought enough of LakeRidge’s wine to purchase any. One of the LakeRidge wine hosts (from Baltimore) recommended the “best” Maryland cakes in FL at the Whale’s Tale in Mt. Dora. His suggestion wiped out everyone’s interest in Kelly’s Brickhouse Pub (my original suggestion which we'll save for another day). Whale’s Tale proved to be just OK, and didn’t come anywhere close to the crab cakes you’d get at Duda’s Tavern in Fells Point, Baltimore.

Lakeridge "Southern Red," is my favorite wine. I buy it by the case, on sale, at the winery.

I found all their wine way to "sweet" for our taste.
