Just purchased a preowned home in Sabal Chase. Previous owner took his little hanging placard, they left the post, that had their first names a street number. No problem except where do we go to pick up a replacement as we now have no street number on our house. Went to Lowe’s and nothing. Must be a speciality shop that sells the things???? Thanks

If you want to put a number on your house as well as on the light pole (which I recommend), check out Etsy.com. Lots of people offer custom house numbers/plaques in lots of interesting styles.

OP, you can buy individual house numbers for actually mounting on the house at any of the hardware stores. If you just want an UNLIT sign for the lamp post, ACE sells these. If you want a LIT sign as noted above, signs by Jackie are very good.

No need to get a quote from Mr. Farrell on his sign design. Simp!y choose your shape, type in what you want it to say and two - three days later in is at your home. I do like supporting a local business, and I am sure he does a fantastic job, but the idea of posting a price seems so obvious that it's absence seems, well, strange

There are 3-4 vendors plus Ace hardware. Jackie’s in the most popular. They have a website and are located at an industrial park south on 301. I have ordered to items from them and are very happy with them. Good luck.

I thought that all houses had numbers attached to the house.

I don't understand people that put their address on their sign when there is already a number on the house. I've seen some signs on light posts that have only the address.

The houses used to come with reflective numbers in the front window and maybe they still do, but some folks have taken those out and put the number on a light pole sign.
