Default Yoga instruction or Tai Chi in the Villages

Just wondering - are there yoga classes or Tai Chi classes taught in the Villages? Also, does anyone know if there is a club for members who have osteoporosis? There seems to be a club for everything and everyone, just wondering.
Thanks

Hi Terrie: The Osteoporosis Support Group meets on the 4th Monday of each month at 10 A.M. at Laurel Manor. Annual dues are a whopping $5.00.

Low Impact Strength Training meets at 11:30 AM each Monday at Laurel Manor and 11 AM each Friday at Mulberry Grove. The exercises are designed for those with osteoporosis/osteopenia. Each class begins with a general warm-up, then strength training with weights (or without, if you prefer), and then mat exercises. Those who prefer can do chair exercises instead of getting down on a mat.

The exercise class is quite popular. Right now there's space for all, but as our winter friends begun to return, the room begins to reach capacity. When that occurs, one should plan to arrive a bit early and "take a number" to assure admission.
