Default Where is the best place to host a 90th birthday party?

I am trying to plan a 90th birthday party (from out of town) for my grandmother (who lives at The Villages). Since I am not very familiar with the area, I was hoping to get some recommendations for locations. It will be in late August and I am guessing 30-40 guests. I had my wedding 19 years ago at Harbor Hills so that is the only place that comes to mind....but I am sure there are lots of other wonderful choices. I appreciate any input for venues and if you have any other recommendations - photographer, baker, florist, etc., I would greatly appreciate the help. Thanks so much!

We attended a 50th anniversary gathering at Seabreeze Rec Center. It was beautifully decorated and catered by La Hacienda Catering. Why not contact the Villages and have her 90th birthday gathering right here on the premises with all the work handled by the Villages????? Just an idea.....

Try the Waterfront Inn. The banquet rooms are a flexible size and they include the patio and a great view of Lake Sumpter.

Colony Cottage Rec Center in The Villages would be very nice, it is decorated in a cottage theme that your grandmother would love.

All of the above suggestions are great ones...nice facilities, easy to get to, and in T.V. Have a wonderful celebration!

For a florist, you might try The Tea Plantation. Someone sent me flowers from there and they were quite exquisite.

I agree about the Waterfront hotel, they have beautiful banquet rooms, their food is excellent and the view is fantastic.

Have fun and wish grandma a very happy birthday from all of us!!!!
