There is a huge amount of people on my street using Omar's Painting Co. They seem to do a good job and the paint is rolled on. Sherwin Williams paint is used and guaranteed for 25 years. Personally, I think having the homes painted after less than 4 years is too soon but will probably use him when we are ready.

Recent paint job by Constantinos - used Sherwin Williams Loxon primer and Super Paint satin. Very pleased with quality of materials and workmanship.

Does anyone have a ballpark price for painting a designer block/stucco home?

We had our Iris painted by George the painter. $1800, power washed, 2 coats Sherwin Williams acrylic and inside of lanai. He did a great job and has since painted a few of my neighbors. he said I should be good for 7-8 years.

We had 5 estimates on our stucco home. We decided with Steve Kling Painting. He uses Sherwin Williams primer and Sherwin Williams Super Paint.He power washes home.Primes home with Loxon primer, ~Repairs all cracking, and recaulks banding.~Recaulks all windows and doors. We are extremely pleased with the excellent job they provided. After they are finished, Mr. Kling does a walk around inspection with the home owner, and a representative from Sherwin Williams who actually gives you a Sherwin Williams 25 year written warranty upon final inspection. Also, this warranty is transferable. You do not pay for the work until it meets with everyones approval. You will not be sorry if you choose Mr. Steve Kling. What is the time frame (usually) to have your house repainted?

Our home is a Gardenia and in the Spring of 2011 we used, (who else?), Investment Painting Contractors, (352) 446-7334. It included power wash and filling all step cracks on exterior of the home, painting the entire exterior of home including the garage door, and painting inside the extended (14x30) lanai. Stucco was painted with Sherwin Williams Loxon XP. The Garage Door was painted with Sherwin Williams Super Paint. $1,900 (may be higher now) and an exceptional and timely job.
