Default The Villages resident directory?

Is there a directory that lists residents based on their hometown or the city, state or country where they resided before coming to The Villages? If so, what TV entity should I contact to request a copy?

Thank you.

Villages Admin could actually produce one because everybody's information is in the AS400 system that the villages owns, but they won't do it. Too time consuming and expensive. One of the phone books had place of origin listed, but I don't know if they still produce it.

The Villages Phone Book has that information.

We added our information to it using this page from the DailySun. Since they collect the information they might be able to tell you how to get a book. Unfortunately, I didn't see any contact info on that page.

District Gov Customer Service Center has answers to a lot of questions.

It would be much easier (for them and us), and probably less expensive, if they just supplied the 'address book' on a USB Drive in excel format.

I don't think it would be less expensive. The phone book is a money maker for them by selling advertising. That may be why they don't offer the information online.

Thank you.
the phone book that is dropped in your driveway around Sept/Oct has all that information. Don't just toss it, it has much more good information in it.

That phone book also gives information many folks don't bother to look at but will ask on social media.

After the Alphabetical list of the villagers in the village directory, there is a list of Villagers by state and country.

Where people are from is misleading because it tells where you moved from last, not where you are from. Example if you moved to another place in Florida from up north and then to TV, it shows you are from Florida.

We got one when we first bought a house and picked up our IDs at the Sumter Sales office. Either that or we got it delivered last April when we were there. I just know we have one. It’s a phone book.

Not sure why they can't get this online like everything else is these days?

New phone books with this information came out the end of January. They came in while we were having our IDs taken and was given one.
