Default VCDD Monthly Bills of yesteryear

It used to be so easy to access old bills, and each month they sent you a pdf anyway, but now I am unable to find them in their "much improved" on line record system.

I have asked VCDD and, while they are trying to be helpful, nothing they suggest works, Firstly they sent me to ways to pay my current bill (mine is paid automatically) and now they've sent me a link that, when clicked on, gives the error message "Record not found. Sorry, the record you have requested could not be found".

All I want to do is to see my bill for December (I was traveling and could not view it at the time).

Maybe I should just go back to paper bills, although they've probably hidden away the page to request that, too.

Thank you

Do you have a recent pdf or paper bill? There is a PIN included on those that you will need.

- I live in Sumter County and the bookmark I use is BSAOnline for Sumter County.
- Enter your street address (1313 Mockingbird) and search
- Click on your name or address in the search results
- Enter your Account PIN found at the top of one of your recent bills
- You should then see all the information you want including your most recent bill

I receive an email with a link that takes me directly to my current bill. If I can find my last one I'll look at that and update this message with anything I can learn from it.
EDIT:
- My invoice email was sent to me on 1/13/2025
- At the top of the email is a link for "View Invoice or Pay Now"
- Clicking that link takes me to a "Your Invoice" page with an amount, a due date, and a link to "View Invoice"
- Clicking that link......
----- The first time it resulted in an error page
----- The second time, it downloaded a pdf of the bill

It seems the site is having issues at the moment. If you are using the similar link from the message you received then perhaps it will work if you keep trying.

For a while there, I was not even getting my paper bill. I spoke to them several times but it was still erratic. I was 2 days late once and it cost me $15. Unfortunately, I would highly suggest you take matters in your own hands to identify what is due and when. I am very disappointed that they make it so hard to pay? Wish we could privatize, then they would be working to get those monies as quickly as possible instead of making it hard. Sorry to vent but this has been adVENTure. lol

Thank you for your detailed reply

Probably best if I wait a few days for the latest e-bill to come in then I can follow your guidance once I've found my PIN

Their latest suggestion was "call the office" - would it not be easier if they made it easier for us to do it ourselves on-line (as it used to be) rather than fielding numerous phone calls on the same subject? Or may be I'm the only one :-)

Thank you, dano121 - sorry to learn of your woes, too

I am happy with paperless bills and autopay, but I do like to check their figures each month and keep track of my water usage

Cracked it, thank you, Bill

Found an eBill from 2023 with the PIN (my latest printed bill didn't show it) and got into the vaults

Default 1313 Mockingbird: Trivia question

- Click on your name or address in the search results
- Enter your Account PIN found at the top of one of your recent bills
- You should then see all the information you want including your most recent bill

I laughed when I saw this address, as I remember it well. Trivia Question to all out there other than the original poster: Who lived at 1313 Mockingbird Lane?

My 1st boss in my working life used to say :
"To change is to grow, to change often is to grow much."

Look how much you've grown from this experience

True - although mainly gray hairs (although Xfinity did help with that)

We’re having nothing but trouble just trying to get them to email us a link to our bill every month. The only communication we ever receive is from our bank letting us know the automatic payment was processed. Total incompetents running that department. So glad it’s not just us. 🙄
