This is exactly the type of issue that the Sumter County Veterans Services Office has experience handling - at no charge to the vet. I would make an appointment and talk to them before an attorney.

[QUOTE=PGApromike;2289253]I am looking to use a VA Disability Lawyer to help me appeal my request for increase of benefits I already receive. If anyone has used and was successful with an accredited VA lawyer, I would be very interested in chatting.
Thank you[

I would like to pm you but not sure how to do that. I am going through the appeal process right now

I agree with others here. Get a good VSO (Veterans Services Officer) to handle your appeal on VA disability increases. Many years ago (Broward County) mine got me from 70% rating to 100% P&T for IU.
In the past 2 years, my spouse worked with a VSO in Sumter County and went from 50% to 80%.
We are very grateful for their help. Could not have done it by ourselves. There is a lot of paperwork involved and they know exactly how to fill them out with correct wording, etc. A good VSO is worth their weight in gold! Best of luck.

To send a PM, go to the persons name, right click, on the drop down menu you can select Private Message, click, file out the message, and send.

Thanks for that info. I did that and had a good phone conversation with the person I was trying to contact. On another topic if you hire a lawyer for your claim they get a pertage of your claim.

Default Vso

The Sumter County Veterans services VSO are great. Please have them review the letter and see what needs to be put together to appeal.
