Default Trolley Tour Information

For the newbies, wannabees and gonnabees, I called The Villages sales office to get information about trolley tours. Here is the scoop:

TROLLEY LEAVING THE SALES OFFICE AT LAKE SUMTER LANDING
10:00 a.m.
11:30 a.m.
1:30 p.m.
3:00 p.m.

TROLLEY LEAVING THE SALES OFFICE AT BROWNWOOD
12:30 p.m.
2:30 p.m.
4:00 p.m.

The route is the same, just in reverse if that makes sense. Stop at the sales office at LSL or Brownwood about 15 minutes before the trolley leaves to get space saved for you. Trolley tour takes about 1 hour.

Thanks for the info. We have guests coming into The Villages soon and wondered if we needed tickets or if there is a cost. Where do we pick up the trolley?

This past April we took guests for the trolley tour from LSL. They told us to stop by for a reservation about 90 minutes before the scheduled tour which at the time seemed excessive. We did so and within 15 minutes that tour time-slot filled to capacity. So allowing only 15 minutes before departure may be very optimistic, although I'm sure the summer season may be less busy for them than April. When you call if they give you a time frame to register for the tour, it's from experience.

Maybe because it is summer and not as populated?

Summers are slow for trolley tours so 15 minutes is usually accurate. Actually you can go to BW and walk in at the last minute. As BW town square builds up I am sure it will get busier, but right now there is not a big demand for trolleys from that location. As we get into the busier seasons, more trolleys are added to fill demands.
