Default T-Mobile Senior Plan

Switched from Verizon after 30 yrs to T-Mobile shortly b4 moving here 4 yrs ago. Can’t beat the price. Service was kind of sketchy down here in certain areas. Over the yrs the service has improved. $60 a month unlimited text/data.

thanks to all,
My husband & I have been on the T-Mobile 55+ service plan for years. Overall, it has worked well for us. We live south of 44 & have not had issues with it. When we lived north of 44, T-Mobile gave us a booster to use for free in the house as we sometimes had trouble with reception inside the house (some houses & buildings have a foil-type wrap for insulation that interferes with signals). We travel throughout the US & sometimes do not have as good of reception in remote areas as AT&T does. It has gotten better over the years. We have not recently traveled outside of the US & have no experience with that.

I have Mint - so far so good!

They might not be on the 55+ plan. Tmobile has Magenta and Magenta Premium plans which are more expensive. Could be one of those.

How did you get that deal? Very nice if it is factual. Maybe just a typo?

I've been on T-Mobile for over 4 years now. Service is as good as any other phone I've had. There are multiple 55+ plans. The lowest cost one is $55/month for 2 lines with autopay. When you add taxes and fees it comes out to $63 and some change. The next up is the Magenta 55+. It's $70/month for 2 lines with autopay, and taxes are included. For the extra $7, you get unlimited 5g (5g can be throttled on the 55+ plan), a 4G LTE hotspot (only 3G on 55+), and netflix for free (netflix is not included on the lowest 55+ plan).

I opted for the Magenta 55+ plan as I use a lot of data. None of the other plans mentioned here (Xfinity, Mint, etc) come close in cost if you use quite a bit of data (3G or more).

As an FYI, one other T-Mobile perk is you get $10/month off of YouTube TV if you're streaming as long as you're with T-Mobile.

We were about to switch from Verizon to T Mobile a few weeks ago.

Good deal on a new Samsung phone but on application they insisted on my giving them our social security numbers.

Told them we would not give out that info, they insisted and we said bye.

Good service, but not as good as Verizon. Service is spotty in some areas.
