Default Swimming pools

Can anyone tell me if the pools and bathrooms at the pools are open to the public or just for use by card carrying (id cards) villagers?

The pools are suppose to be for residents and their guests. The bathrooms are public. When i moved here 8 years ago ids were checked. I put in a pool 2 years ago.. I do not know if they currently check ids,.

We have lived here now for just under a year and nobody has ever checked our ID.

Typically we walk to a neighborhood pool and do not even carry it.

I believe they still check, maybe not as often this past year. The bathrooms are used by many contractors.

I would have to assume, that because homeowners pay a amenity fee which includes the local pools that the pools are only for The Villages Residents!!!! The public should not be coming into The Villages and using our pools!! If the public drove into The Villages and used our pool facilities that would be TRESPASSING ????

all the pools are for residents/guests only. ID's are checked periodically. bathrooms are open to the public and that includes the bathrooms in the rec centers. The lobby of the rec centers are considered public.

Is it fair to assume that you have seen people using the bathroom that don't measure up to whatever socioeconomic status you have set as acceptable to use your bathroom?

Reread the original question please the person is asking about pools and restrooms. The checking of ID’s does go on. If you are in the pool they don’t make you get out and get your ID, however is you are in the pool area they will check and scan your ID. They come around and check about every hour or so, at least that’s what they do at Santiago where I go
