Cool Swimming Places for Dogs

I have 2 Labs who love to swim. Problem is where to go? I know of Bark Central but the pond is small, shallow and muddy. I can't find any facility nearby except in Orlando that has a pool or fenced in pond. Don't want my Labs to become and Alligator entree.
It seems this would be a great business with all the Dogs we have. Nice, outdoor pool with entry point and appropraite deck covering for dog paws. I would be willing to pay.....

Do you want safe area, that will have a fee? There are day cares that have pools.

Or any body of water that one can enter for free?

I wonder if the feather hunters in TV have their retriever dog get their kill, or do they boat out to get them. If any hunters allow their prize dogs in water here then they must deem it safe.

Other than that our oldest takes his to the ocean, to play in the waves. So far they are nor interested in jumping in the pool.

This would be a long day trip, or maybe overnight, but in Venice Beach area there is a dog park that has a fenced walkway to the ocean where dogs are allowed to swim/run off leash. The nice thing about this park is that it has a cleaning station.

Closer to home, Flagler Beach allows dogs on leads. We have used a 30-foot line to let our Golden swim and mess about in the sand. I have heard that after 5 pm people let their dogs run free. But it's supposedly a big fine, so we never tried it.

This is the rule for dogs at Flagler Beach:

You can bring your pet north of N. 10th St and south of S. 10th St. All dogs must be on a leash no longer than 8 feet and please remember to pick up after your pet to help keep our beaches beautiful.

The ponds are full of gators. Don’t even bring your dog to the edge near the pond

We were told when we moved here to assume any body of water in Florida has gators. Remember what happened to that poor little boy at Disneyworld. Unless it's a swimming pool, I wouldn't let my precious dogs go in.
