I was going to cite the white around the eye, but all those called long tail have that characteristic. Shrandell? You around?

YES!! Its the skipper I have some other photos taken at the same time which mimic the one in Pooh's thread

yes, I've been seeing the skippers in my garden too. The one on the right looks like a buckeye to me.
