Default Snails on our siding

We have about 35/40 snails (not slugs) crawling on our garage door siding at night. All sizes and speeds, mostly very small. Anyone know why they are doing this and should we be concerned.
If the block party is at our house next week I guess we will be having escargot.

Agree 1000%. There are varieties in FL that eat concrete.

Put some beer in very shallow containers of some sort.
The snails will crawl into the dishes and die.

Just don't tell any neighbors what's in the dishes;
they may slurp up the beer before the snails!

I have not seen any snails here (thank God) but in CA they were in abundance on most of our plants and climbing up walls, etc. Some people did try the beer remedy, I never did however. But look around at all your vegetation, there might be a shrub or plant that is attracting them. You'll find them on the leaves, on top and underneath. It CA, it was gazanias and agapanthus that were the culprits (among others). If you find the source, you could put the beer around this plant or buy a snail bait product that is a liquid and looks like tar. It was the only thing that reduced the population but in CA it was only temporary. They were as out of control as we have geckos here. Wish I could offer better advice. PS, I stopped eating escargot when I moved to CA and saw what they really looked like, Yuck!!

Sprinkle diatomaceous earth, around the house perimeter.
