Bad news for those who like this restaurant. They are closing the Summerfield location any day now. The landlords raised the rent a lot, so they are letting that location go. The Ocala location will still be open, so if you have gift cards you will be able to use them there. As soon as they decided to close that location, half the employees left so they are very short handed.
I've always loved the servers at this location. All of them are friendly and happy to be serving you. I feel really bad for them. All of the cooks have left but 1, so they are only serving the seafood fried. No grilled, blackened.... because it takes too long for 1 cook to serve the entire restaurant.
Just giving a heads up, call before you go to see if they are open.
I guess I'll have to head to Old Time Diner to get my shrimp fix.

That’s sad, we enjoyed going up there for shrimp dinner. You are correct about the employees, they were always great people.
