Yes, my 16 plus year old long haired reteriver has decided he's done with healthy dog food and figures I own him rotisserie chickens, chicken pieces, hamburger, and ham the rest of his life. He's right, I do for the years of faithful love and obedience. I sneak piece when he's not looking!

Doggies are pretty smart. Our golden seemed to do better with a diet of people food...in proper propotions for a dog. As he got older, his ground turkey appealed less to him. Seems if I made it a sandwich, he’d eat it....BUT I had to had to feed it to him. The vet was no help....said, if that’s the way he’ll eat, feed him....he’s old. Honestly, I think Max felt he was a sultan....lolol.

Make a trip to one of the Costco locations once or twice a month. You can drive to the new one off I-4 close to the big Mall in about one hour. Sam's cannot even compare with Costco. We buy two or three chickens and bring them back and freeze them.

Our neighbor picked one of these up as a gift to us a few months back. I liked it but my parents were not all that pleased with it. They like the chicken from Publix more.

Just a thought, but if they didn't know where the chicken came from, would they really know the difference?

I akin this to store brand items when some say they aren't as good as brand names, but in some cases they are even better, or at least,
as good as the brand name.

I wouldn't drive an hour for a chicken either but.....there are so many other things Costco has that I much prefer to what Sam's offers. My vote goes to Costco. I surely wish we had a Costco here rather than Sam's.

I would imagine the person who goes to Costco for chicken also purchases other items too.

Might be interesting to have a "blind" rotisserie chicken tasting, like a wine tasting-one each from Sam's, Costco, Walmart and so on.
