BJ's won't let u use a coupon for a discount membership if you have ever been a member in the past. When you get there, they say, the offer is only for NEW members. Very disappointing...but I guess I should have read the small print...the very small print!

Yes, that turned me off of BJ's. They had my husband as a member even though neither of us could remember being in a BJ's. I finally figured we must have gone in one in N. Miami Beach one time in 1999. Their memory is too good for me!

Which would be better to join, Sam’s Club, Or Costco? It looks to be about the same driving distance, We are in Southern Lake County almost on 470.

There is on Sam's Club, two BJ's, and one Costco within a 20mi radius of where 470 meets the Turnpike. There are several other threads discussing which is better. For us, the one we already belonged to turned out to be the shortest drive so we've remained with them.
