Based on your comment I believe you need revise your comment. The Villages Charter School is the 3rd best school in the state of Florida. If you look at what you pay for taxes for the Charter School and the quality of education I believe you get a lot more and a better education for all students.
If you have not visited the new facility take a ride and view the facilities it is amazing.

Why have under 55 areas? To help support the local businesses. Why have charter schools? Better education with the added financial state funding $$ benefit added to local taxes. Good business strategy.

Generation X following the Boomers is almost as big... And they've already started to retire. Millennials are even bigger then Boomers. No need to panic sell to under 55 age buyers...

Boomers = 71.6 Million

Generation X = 65.2 Million (started hitting 55 3-4 years ago)

Millennials = 72.4 Million (about 14-15 years from hitting 55)

Or, they like the idea of less crowded pickleball courts, pool, etc. While most of the neighborhood is working or at school, the amenities are ALL YOURS. It also doesn't hurt that the homes are cheaper for whatever reason. They are the same models as the Villages.

There are lots of people who work here because of the K-12 school; that’s why a lot of them didn’t quit back when we had Covid. You should look at the school as something positive for everybody.

Those who do not golf find Middleton a good option. Some only play championship courses and Middleton will not be far from the newer courses. Cheaper prices and less crowded are attracting a few older folks.

The Village Charter School is possibly the biggest, and luckiest start in life those kids could get.
Local Public Schools are poor and underfunded, from all the reports I have read.

I was just looking at some of the models in Middleton online & they do not seem to be the same models. There are a lot of two stories (few within the Villages). One similarity I did see is some have screened in lanais similar to Village models. The Playground series might be closest to Patio Villas, but no patio & no lanai.

Absolutely correct & some of the new 'young' buyers are working from home, having bought their retirement home early. Very smart, I wish I had done so.
