Does anyone have any information about the private dinner club that is above City Fire in Sumter Landing? What are the facts? Who belongs to the club? How do you join? Chime in please if you know.

I have eaten there and the food is excellent. It is expensive but delicious. The Morses belong and local area business owners.

That club (The Angler's Club) used to be the private domain of Gary Morse, his executives ans his family before he passed away. From what I was told by the sales guy who sold me my house, the developers have opened up membership to all employees of The Villages after Gary passed away.
I do not know what the membership fee is for the employees to join.

One of the food trucks down below 44 is owned and run by the manager of The Angler's Club.

Excellent ambiance, food, drinks, service. The epitome of you get what you pay for.

All the fare is expensive compared to anything else in TV.....but well worth it. Very enjoyable.

Not just employees if TV...owners of the businesses that rent from TV are invited to join as well. It used to be by invitation; not sure if the criteria join have changed.
Intended, among other things to provide an environment where local business folks could gather.

I thought so also. But the previous posters who claimed have been there did not dispute the City Fire location so who knows?

I believe it is like a Country Club (it's a private club). You are "invited" to join but members can bring guests. I know some of the Doctors from TVH are members.
I have no issue with it.
