I see a few of these around, and have seen a few for sale. Anybody have any experience with these? Thanks...

I had a Softub for years up north. Cost about $10/month to heat. Loved it. Sold it before I moved down here. Wish I hadn't. Softub has a store off 466 east just before 441.

I own a used Soft Tub and we love it! Easy to use, low cost for chemicals and heating. Takes up little space and works great. Call Andrew Crouch if you want information, he is a Lady Lake dealer in Soft Tubs. Cell 812-219-2700 or local 352-753-3201.

Another vote for softub....great prices from a Tampa/Sarasota dealer too and he delivers! We had one and when we moved sold it....only to miss it so much we purchased another. Plugs into ordinary outlet and uses almost no electricity.

Thanks. A quick look at the Soft tub site puts them at about $4000.?? I'm thinking the less expensive $800 range ones. I see several even from Home Depot that are much less expensive. Is this an accurate pricing?

Call Andrew Crouch he also finds used tubs and sells them with new skins. Tell him Marcy told you to call him. He can tell you about prices.

Can anyone comment on Lovey's question about the ones from Home Depot?

So would I. I never heard of these Soft Tubs, but when I get there in January I definitely want a Hot Tub, and this sounds promising, especially not taking up all the space on the Lanai

Deal...I'll update this with what I find. They have some nice smaller ones 2-4 people, most are round shaped that cost anywhere from $500 to $900. They run on the 110 current, no bigger electrical outlet needed. They are the ones I'm looking at. According to the reviews they don't have "jets" that give you that "back pounding" (as one reviewer said) but it bubbles, which still gives you the feeling of jets, just not as intense. This particular model was on the Home Depot site, but there are plenty others. Jeez, Walmart even has them on their website. One name is Therapure, another is EZSpa. If you search "portable hot tub" they all pop up - no pun intended.
