Question Olive Oil Shop?

I heard there is a new shop that specializes in Olive Oils & Balsamic Vinegars. Does anyone know the name & location of this shop?

Interesting idea....I guess. I'm OK with Fresh Market or Trader Joe's brands, but I know some foodies really enjoy (and can tell the difference) gourmet oils and vinegars. Can't imagine a retail location that specializes in them. Maybe it's part of a larger gourmet type market?? That could be fun...

Ancient Olive and it's located in LSL next to the Tea Plantation. Have been yet but I understand it opened last week.

Just bought some Basil Olive Oil and Raspberry Balsamic Vinegar. I put some olive oil in a dish, and added some squirts of Raspberry Vinegar and dipped with French bread. Yummy To make it a little more interesting, I chopped up two cloves of garlic (real fine) and added it to the oil & vinegar. Yummy Twice Over!!!!!!!! Adding bread dipping spices are next.

I have always shopped at The Spicy Olive, in West Chester OH, (home of the lovely Graciegirl) and they have a wonderful collection of olive oils and balsamic vinegars which can be blended to make terrific dressings, marinades and flavor enhancers. I for one am very excited.

When vacationing on Sanibel Island we always shop here: Florida Olive Oil We're not so much into the Olive Oil but the Balsamic Vinegars they offer. Will have to stop in to the LSL store and see what they have to offer.

Thank you....I found it!! Great selection of oils & vinegars. I purchased the cara cara orange/vanilla white balsamic vinegar and roasted walnut olive oil. I was trying to find something similar to a bottle of pecan praline balsamic vinegar I had purchased at the Southern Women's show...what I purchased today was even better! Hope this shop sticks around for a while!

My mouth watered when I read what you bought. I had to tell my husband your selections and he wants to know if you had to float a loan or if you carry that much cash with you? LOL

I've been driving to Winter Park everyother month to the Ancient Olive down there to stock up....I'm beyond thrilled they have opened a place here. My fav are Blood Orange Olive oil and Cranberry Pear vinegar...the combo makes a fabulous salad dressing. The blood orange oil is also great to baste salmon and then grill.

The nice thing about this new shop is that you can taste any of the oils and vinegars. It also has lots of other items in the shop. Very nice !

Prices were very reasonable. Oil was $17, Vinegar was $13 both were 200ml bottles, but you can choose the size you want. Also, if you return the bottle to refill it, they will give you $1 off. Best of all...you can sample BEFORE you buy!
