The very first thing I would do is contact ARC to see if you can actually do this, as part of this get your plot (plat) plans for your lot from the county building or zoning department. Then check all of the property lines and setback restrictions. If all these allow for the addition of a garage, then you can look for a contractor. I will leave to others to suggest suitable contractors. Make sure the contractor in licensed, insured, and get ALL of the required permits. I would expect a lead-time of several months of this type of project.

When you get quotes from contractors, I would suggest evaluating the hassle and the cost versus moving to another house. There are lots of houses available that already have the garage space that you need. Also, get a real estate opinion of how much you will be increasing, if at all, the value of the house with a new garage.

I added a golf cart garage on my corner lot Court Yard Villa. T & D did the work. It wasn’t cheap but they did a great job.

Finally, someone who actually answered the OP’ question. Melton is another contractor I’d get an estimate from.
