Default Looking to upgrade yamaha golf cart seats

I am looking to upgrade my golf cart seats from a bench seat to the bucket seats. I priced them at The Village's golf cart store and the EZGO on Rte 44...they run well over $1,000. the ones I liked were around $1,300. but I was wondering if anyone out there found someone with a better deal.

WOW, I just replaced my sofa with leather and electric reclining for about the same price. They seem very proud of their product for just a couple of seats in a golf cart.

I bought my cart 5 years ago this August from The Villages. I went with the Ultimate Bench (photo below) which was $1495 at that time, looks like it's still the same price. I see they offer cheaper versions without a center armrest but I really like the armrest for my right arm. I had to drive a car once without a center armrest on a long trip and my right shoulder hurt the whole time. So when I ordered the cart that was the main reason for going with the Ultimate and it is a nice feature when driving the golf cart as well. Also I felt the Luxury Bench was more comfortable than the Luxury Bucket and the more expensive Supreme Sport Bucket, even though were great looking, I found they were not comfortable.

Same as then as now, there is only a $100 savings by buying direct from Ultimate even with the free shipping. You would have the cloth seats to resell if you were to add the seats yourself later. I think if I were looking now, I would go with the El Tigre Sportster High Back Third Arm. They look very similar to what I have, they're made locally in Ocala and they're cheaper at $1,055.

It's just plain crazy the prices being charged, and apparently being paid, for a couple of simple golf seats.

I think there is a huge potential market for someone who wants to make or reupholster seats at a reasonable price.

Well worth the money if you use the cart as much as I do. Comfort is important. It is just funny money anyway.
