Default LED Lights for Golf Cart

Have any of you had LED lights put on your cart lately? I called the guy who was recommended here and got a price, but Liquid Lights wouldn't give a price over the phone. The woman on the phone said that they have a package deal, but she wouldn't say what it included or the price. Have any of you bought the package? I've heard that it's around $400 (from friends). Is that still the price? What does it include? Colors? Thanks for your help.

You can get an idea of the cost for the LEDs from Amazon or any of several golf cart accessory websites. Now depending on what you have in mind installation could be anywhere from under $100 to well over $200. I helped or did several neighbors golf carts and this is what I ended up charging for user supplied products. The last project was 12 LED strips, all of the associated wiring and routing all of this wiring to a central location for the controller, around 5 hours of work as I recall. I am currently not doing this due to a shoulder injury. Simple turn signal additions can be a DIY project, take a look at youtube videos.

5 hours for cart lighting. You’re kidding, right?

No. Takes time to run wires properly with correct wiring and circuit protection.

For 12 strips installed properly, I think 5 hours is a good figure.
