Default Icon Golf Carts - Good, Bad Ugly?

Getting ready to purchase first cart. Any info or reviews on the Icon brand? Long term value and life of cart are definitely at the top of my list. This will be for my Mom and I want her to have to deal with as little as possible with maintenance and repairs. Thank you.

I would check for a local dealer and get repair as well as any delays in replacement parts. Personally, I would go with a Yamaha gas, there are several companies that will come to your house for Maintenace and repairs. I have used Todd's and Willies for great success.

Anyone who buys a gas golf cart for their mother, should be disowned.

Buy her a plug in and she'll have zero aggravation, noise, or smell.

Icon does not have the best reputation, there are other options.

& don't worry, Willie & Todd and anyone else will work on your electric cart, although you probably won't need much in the way of repairs and/or maintenance. There's nothing much to go wrong with an electric cart.

Village Tinker is correct.

There have been reports of parts being on long delays with the lesser known brands.

Check out who will perform the maintenace & repair. As Tink said, there are several Yamaha gas cart services that will arrive at your Mom's house & do everything for her.
