Have you ever had a horizontal blind pull chord break and need a repair? We had this happen on a Hunter Douglas horizontal wood blind. The middle of 3 pull cords broke making the shade inoperable. Called Hunter Douglas local rep and got quote of over $250 to repair. Being retired and having a few extra minutes, decided to see what the big cost driver was. Utube video was my helper. As it was, the repair works out to be quite simple on my shades. Cost to replace 3 cords was $10 for 100 feet of cord plus $5 shipping. Good as new.

Learned a few tricks of the trade. Not all shades are equal, but if you have unusable Hunter Douglas blinds due to broken pull cord and do not want to fund a major repair cost and need moral support to try on your own , PM me.
