Default Homeowners Insurance Again

Sorry to keep beating on this subject but I believe this issue is constantly changing and updating. HOMEOWNER Insurance. My premiums (1940 sq ft designer/new roof 7/20/new water heater 3/19) with Progressive: 2/22 $2032 /
2/23 $3200 / 2/24/ $4600. I do understand there increases are the trend in Florida. Since I will be looking for alternative homeowners quotes I am looking for current renewal experiences that could point me to specific companies and agents. About 4 months ago a TOTV post stated some new insurers were coming to Florida, specifically ORION 180 SELECT INSURANCE, ORION 180 INSURANCE, AND TAILROW INSURANCE. Any experience or insight regarding these and other new insurers would be appreciated.

What year was your house built? Is it frame, concrete block, or tilt wall? Are you near water (lake/pond)? What is the elevation? Have there been sinkholes in your area? Lightning strikes? Have you made any claims? All of these are factors for an insurance quote.

Raw numbers are meaningless. Need to know coverage limits, deductibles etc.

I found by getting out of the BUBBLE to check on insurance rates. Even referred friends Coastal Florida Naples to agents in Clermont area to ensure “Southern Insurance Group”

It's a southern state that borders the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea. Insurers will come and go as they assess risk. Think of it like living in an area that has an extremely high auto theft rate and your auto insurers adjust costs and coverages accordingly. Thankfully, there are plenty to choose from here. I just went through this and had three companies as my finalists.

maybe the Fake News is correct , people are leaving Florida because of the exorbitant Homeowners Insurance Rates.. I just pay the Annual Premium and cross my fingers, that I will receive help when the " Big One" comes...

Marshall Insurance Group

Just signed up with loggerhead insurance through Marshall insurance group. My existing policy had gone up to $3500. Loggerhead gave me similar coverage for just under $1400. My house was built in 2000, 1808 ft.², designer home, three bedroom two bath. They are a paperless company. Ashley was very helpful and walked me through everything.
