Default Help with moving

Does anyone know someone who would help us pack for a move within the villages. ?? My husband had a heart attack and isn't in Condition to do this and I can do some but have health challenges also.

I know someone who used the app "task rabbit". It pairs people who need help with others who want the jobs for some extra $$. It might be worth taking a look at it. Good luck!

The Villages has a list of trusted movers, or you could ask your real estate agent - they usually know someone.

The Village Mover - The ones with the black trailers. 352-751-2750. They can handle as much or as little as you would like. Nice employees. They emptied our POD when we moved here.

Default Be cautious when getting a recommendation from The Villages or Realtor.

If you do contact The Villages or your realtor for a recommendation and they refer you to Here To There Moving, don’t bother calling. My wife and I contacted The Villages Relocation department and they referred us to them and it was a total disaster from the beginning. First they didn’t show up when they were supposed to and then they subbed the movers out to another company. Then they didn’t cover most of our furniture like they said they do and unfortunately a number of our items were damaged.

If you attend, or are a member of the Live Oaks Community Church here in TV, they have a program, "Honey-Do", that helps people with just such kinds of issues. Even if you're not it might be worth a call just to ask.
