Default Has anyone had any experience with fiberglass inground pools

We have just seen an inground fiberglass pool that looked amazing and the cost was much less than concrete. Any comments.

My buddy here in Texas has one and loves it. From start to finish took less than a week with concrete deck and all.

I had a fiberglass pool for years. The only issue was that it needs to be refinished after approximately 7-10 years and that is an expensive job. If you keep chemicals well balanced, the life of the finish on a fiberglass pool is greatly increased.

A long time ago we had a concrete pool. It that had to be refinished in the 10 year time frame. It was quite expensive. Do today's concrete pools not require refinishing at 10 years or so?
