I’ve seen white lights and I’ve seen blue lights on the lamp posts in front of individual houses. Now I’ve noticed that some houses have green lights on their lamp posts.
Does anyone know if there is any significance to the green or blue lights on the lamp posts?

Thanks
Julie

Put a lamp on your lanai or in a window. You don't have to change your post light.

Paying a couple of bucks for a green light bulb doesn't support our troops. It just expresses an opinion. If you really want to support the troops, one thing you can do is pester your congressperson about the unnavigable bureaucracy at Veterans' Affairs. Don't have time for that? Donate to the USO. Thank a person in uniform...it means a lot.. Take action beyond screwing in a light bulb.

years ago... red light meant you were OPEN for business.. and the crazy fact, when I bought my house, the Lamp post lite was red and the lani lights were Red.... changed them fast ! Don't know what they mean now? but I do know the Flashing lite on a lamp post means HELP and its easier to spot for the EMT's or Ambulance ....

According to google, “A green porch light is used to express support and appreciation for US military veterans. These lights are often used on or around 11/11 in honor of Veterans Day. They are also commonly seemin May in recognition of Memorial Day “

Especially now it is a fitting sign of support.
