Default Golf Cart Tire Change

My cart needs to have a new set of tires mounted. I plan to bring the wheels to them along with the new tires. The “Villages Golf Cars “ people say if you didn’t purchase the cart from them they won’t touch it. Doing a google search show pages and pages of cart shops around the villages.

Anyone have any recommendations on a good cart shop?

If you are on the north side Tire choice always does mine. They are right across the bridge on the Historical side. I just drop my cart off and go back a couple hours later.

Try Willie's Golf Cart Service(352) 255-1369. They will come to your house.

I always get my tires from them. i used to go to Walmart or The Villages Golf carts but Willie's puts on better tires at a cheaper price and they'll come right to your house.

Wildwood Tire does golf cart Tires. I would give them a call if you prefer something near Brownwood. The also sell golf cart tires but I imagine the would be happy to mount tires for you. I have had them repair a couple flat tires on my cart.

My opinion. To do this, a jack is needed. It is not really safe to leave the cart raised on the jack so you will need jack stands. What is saved, a guess not much?

A guess is the cost will be $50 to have four tires mounted and there is no guaranty.
Villages golf carts. A friend bought a cart from them about six months ago. I was shocked. He got a flat and they gave him a new tire and wheel. I have no relationship with any of the service places.

Walmart will not do aluminum mag wheels. Aluminum mags have thick rim bead that makes the tire a real stretch to get on and off. Steel wheels had thin bead and are lot easier to replace.

I did not buy my cart from Villages Golf Carts, and I've serviced with them for years.

I hope tou have an “air wrench” to get the wheels off your cart. The lug nuts are on so tight I couldn’t get them off, standing on a 4’ breaker bar. I bought tires online and took my cart, with tires, to Tire Choice at Colony Plaza and the charged me $20.00 per tire to change them.

I’m guessing you didn’t save any money buying from someone else.

I second Willie's. Just started using them (2 times so far) for repairs and yearly maintenance. Both times came to house and took care of business, no problem.

Many tire buisnesses (auto, mc & gc) will not mount tires purchased elsewhere! There are several (logical) reasons why.
