The add says buying a car through their service is so easy you can do it in your underwear. That’s a problem with this modern world, people want to take the easy way out and do everything on line. If there isn’t an app to think for people they are lost, very sad. I would never buy a car without popping the hood, kicking the tires, and taking it for a test drive. I think I would get into trouble if I tried to do that in my underwear?

Bottom line: Has anyone heard about this company and/or used them in the past? Are they reputable? Does the Daily Sun verify the legitimacy of companies before they accept advertising dollars from them? Just trying to do my due diligence. Thanks for your help!
No the paper does not look into the companies that advertise

Had a great experience using GiveMeTheVIN in early March 2021. Initially seemed to good to be true, but they came through as advertised buying our 2018 mid-sized pickup truck for $36,500 which was in the private party price range on Kelly Blue Book. They increased their offer above the price range on the preliminary quote after a phone call and review of comprehensive digital photos we supplied. After briefly trying to sell the truck on Auto Trader, they came through with a very fair offer. Super easy and quick transaction. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Default Good dog poop bags

Our fur baby is waiting for us in Heaven but when he was still with us we reused the newspaper bags to pick up his used food if you know what I mean. Used for the same purpose twice.

I like the bags. Don't read the ads but they are great for trash and garbage.

That's a very funny question. Generally speaking any company cares about is whether they get paid. They will however pull an ad if they get complaints. Why don't you do your do diligence? Why don't you tell us what you find out through all the work? After all that's what intelligence smart people would do.

The newspaper distributor is an independent contractor who delivers the paper. Maybe he/she could tell you if they pay for those bags or if the Daily Sun supplies those bags. It's just possible that the Daily Sun has nothing to do with them......or maybe that the bags with advertising are cheaper to buy than the clear plastic ones.
BTW, I've never read the advertising on them even though I get them.

Default Buy my car

FYI like anything else offers and prices will vary according to the dealership. I've been searching for a used car and they always offered to give you a value for your trade online well one place gave me an offer of 4,400, with all the reasons why they make these deductions. The other place gave me an offer of $8,400. The only thing you really should consider to figure out what your car is worth is to realistically understand the condition it's in and then look and see the offers online for similar years and mileage, and then deduct 3 to 4,000 if you going to sell it to a dealer

Yes. You should protect yourself with your own checks on businesses. Why would you expect someone to do it for you?

Could care less about the company, but if the plastic is wet, the print transfers to what you sit it on. Be careful, my utility sink has their ad in it, it’s hard to remove

They're legit but.... we just sold a vehicle for about $3500 more than the Give me your VIN guys offered. And we gave a good deal to the young couple. I guess if you want to dump a vehicle quickly for little money, it would work.

We get the paper daily - just to show how advertising is blahhh with me, I noticed the paper is in a whitish bag now - never looked tho. Just as I now breeze thru the full-page ads in so many sections lately. Not complainin', simply that advertisment goes right by me.

Crikey! I was thinking of advertizing Fairway Cruises in the Daily Sun...but if it goes right by you

Tucking fliers into a newspaper is not at all a new tactic Someone is being paid for this. Advertising. Have you ever seen an ad by any company that says we are liars, thieves and crooks? If, the service appeals to you, you should compare their offer to others.

I see this sort of offer like ads if we don't sell your house we will buy it. Obviously, they will not give you top value. Same is true of no medical report required life insurance.
They know that people who apply will not pass a medical check and so the cost is high.
