Default Gas cart battery

Need a new battery for my GAS golf cart. Looking for best place to buy. Current battery is a Rayovac from Batteries Plus. Anything closer than My. Dora?

Check out AutoZone, on the corner of 44 and 301... Or Walmart...

Any automotive store, also Rural King, take in your old battery so they can match and you get the core charge. Be sure you know which wire goes on which terminal when you reinstall the new battery.

The Walmarts on 466 and on 441 are golf cart accessible. The one on 466 has an automotive service center.

Batteries have gone up considerably in the past three years. You can shop around but, I would just go to the Villages. It’s about $110.00 with your old battery in trade.
It’s not worth driving all around to safe ten bucks.

That price of $110.00 sounds excellent. When I shopped online recently, I found prices ranging 150-225. If your cart is a Yamaha 2017 or newer there is a little more work involved for installation.

How many years would you expect a new Yamaha cart battery to last? My cart will be 4 years old soon and I'm wondering when I should start thinking about replacing it.

Sam's on 441. Got one last month. In stock at the automotive service desk. About $125.

Just bought a replacement for 2016 Yamaha with matching or better specs as original, at Rural King for $54.

I just had my 2018 Yamaha cart battery replaced for $120 at The Villages Golf Cars in Brownwood.
They checked the charge/voltage/load (not sure of terminology) and said that it was weak. Gave me the option of changing it or not.
I had it changed as I knew it was 4 years old and I didn't want to get stuck somewhere with a dead battery.
Hope this helps.

At 4 years, time to shop around & then bring your old one with you in case the battery model number has changed. Then the shop you chose will match you up to what you need.
