Default Garage Storage Ideas and Photos Please

As we plan for our move, Hubby is researching garage storage cabinets to install. I tried to find some of the photos I'd seen on TOTV to give him some additional ideas, but was not successful with my search. It would be very helpful if you can share your photos or ideas. Thanks.

We just installed storage cabinets in our garage. I do not have pictures however. The cupboards I installed are as follows so try googling them:

Ulti-MATE GA-800 Sixteen Piece "Double Whammy" Cabinet Storage System

www.walltowallstorage.com

ULTIMATE GA-800

I also have an amazing guy who installed them, referred to me by another Villager. We are bringing him back to do some more work for us in November when we move in.

You can PM me if you have questions

Not sure if these are the type of storage cabinets you're referring to but they might be worth considering: Metal storage cabinets......and they're on wheels!

Ultra Heavy-Duty Storage Cabinet - Sam's Club

I bought 6 of these for garage storage at our home here in OH. They're available at the Sam's Club there in Lady Lake as well. I like them because: 1.) they're very well built for the money (powder coated body and shelves with locking stainless doors), 2.) they keep the dirt/dust/whatever off of the stuff you're storing, and 3.) they're on locking caster wheels so you can move them to sweep the floor - also makes it simple to reconfigure their arrangement in your garage. "Some assembly required" but it's really straightforward and easy to do.

I bought the matching workbench and wall storage cabinets to what Bill bought at Sam' Club & love them! Well made, good looking, and useful. Prices were reasonable too. I had looked at everything the other big box stores had and these were the best.

Default Shelving

I went all the way around my garage (on 3 sides) and installed wire shelving about a foot down from the ceiling. I put a brace at each stud and used metal straps to secure the shelving to the stud rather than the plastic clips. A Xerox paper box fits on the shelf perfectly. It's amazing how much stuff you can get up off the floor neatly packed and labeled in boxes. It looks good and was cheap.

Default Your tile

So tell us about your tile. Any prep on the concrete? Peal & stick or glued? Is tile designed specifically for a garage? How do you care for it?
