Default Garage Screen Doors

Thinking about having garage screen door installed.
Question #1: If you have garage screens, would you do it gain ?
Question #2: Would you install power roll up or side sliders ?
Thanks
Greg

Yes, I have them. Yes, I'd do it again. Side sliders.

LOTS of threads here about that except MODS usually move them somewhere else in the forum. Where, depending on their mood at the time one can only guess. I have a SLIDER by choice, did not want a rollup.

We bought the house with sliders, but a few years ago we had those taken out and had a power rollup. I would do it again if I had to. It’s sort of like before there were remote controls for tvs, you had to get up and change the channel manually. After getting a remote control, I would never go back to the manual.

We have the sliders and love them. We can walk in and out without opening the whole door. Why? They keep all of the critters and bugs out.

Yep, And if you got the white privacy screen (with either slider or electric) you can leave you garage door up, screen closed and you can use the garage for nude dancing, nude oil changes or nude yoga since no one can see in during the day (just don't try it at night).

and

During the winter we leave the garage door up, screen closed, house entry from garage door opened and bedroom window opened and you get great breeze/cross ventilation through the entire house with fresh air.

We have the type that uses the same track as the hard garage door from Thumper's Screen Garage Door (Cook Aluminum company). Love it and would get it again. It doesn't take away any height of the opening, works off the same clicker as the hard door, is sturdy against high winds, and is trouble free. Highly recommend this product. Would def get it again.

Yes we love our power up screen door. Much better than the one slide. Power up so easy and convenient . Definitely would do again. Try Skeeterbeaters. Very professional and terrific work.

Have had roll up for ten years- like roll better than slide- will never have another Florida home without them. Really neat

I installed a power roll up screen on my garage door and love it. I can see out but passerby’s can’t see in. It does keep the garage somewhat cooler.

I have a roll up screen because it came with the house have only used it once. Would not pay to have one put in a waste of money.

Screen doors allow more air and lots more light. Ours is always in use, day and night. Aesthetically for me, the roll up screen is a lot more pleasing.
