AARP FL is hosting a free shred event on-site to help people fight back against fraud and protect them from identity theft.

There will also be a Shred truck on site from 8-11 a.m - Pre-registration is not required for the Shred event.

Stay one step ahead of identity thieves and get your personal and sensitive documents shredded post-tax-season. Your documents will be shredded on-site, free of charge. There is a limit of 3 small boxes/bags per person. Metal, plastic, and other materials may damage shredders and will not be accepted. Please, no magazines or cardboard.

Thank you for the info; unfortunately, I won't be able to make it. Is this something that happens regularly? Or occasionally? Or is this a first-time? Just wondering, since we have this in my hometown every first Saturday of the month.
