Default The flower beds are so beautiful here!

The beautiful annual plantings all over the Villages are such a pleasure. At the red light at Rt 466 yesterday, I was admiring the flower bed adjacent to the large pond there.

Be careful some posters will tell you that flowers in the south don’t equal those in the LSL area and north.

I'm enjoying the new plantings too. The intersection at 466 and Morse Blvd (where Colony Plaza is located) has 7 (seven) beds of flowers adorning it. Add that really pretty waterfalls and it is just gorgeous!

Well.....they don't. But..........the northern villages does not have all the walking paths that the southern villages does. There are trade offs in both areas.

466 is North of LSL...

The post has nothing to do with N vs S...

They have been working on the sprinklers along Meggison, Friday ground crew was digging up the sod in roundabouts on Meggison by Richmond and St Johns. Flats of flowers, plants and new sod were waiting to be planted.

Roundabouts have been sod and some palms since road opened, guessing the landscaping was on hold until most of construction of Richmond was completed.

It is a scenic ride along the cart path down to Waterlilly bridge, or over to Southern Oaks and Sawgrass . The completion of BV over to Meggison was definitely worth waiting for, the waterwheel on the corner of BV and is really pretty. The road cuts thru wetlands that, mirrors the look of Meggison natural habitats.

That's because it is North of 44. Otherwise, you would see powerlines and weeds.

I love all the flowers around here. Especially while waiting at red lights. Treat for the eyes and spirit!

My sister was just here for a week visit and the one thing she remarked about the most was the flowers! They really do set The Villages apart from other places. Just beautiful!

I believe they plant quarterly, not annually. Even better. 👍🏻 We just got new flowers at the entrances to our verandas north neighborhood south of 44 in DeLuna. They’re being planted all over down here.
