Default First look at new Okahumpka Recreation Area

The early plans showing the new Okahumpka Recreation area have surfaced.

The plans show a recreation center, a commercial building (restaurant), a postal station, and what looks to be some walking trails. It also appears to have possible boating facilities on the waterfront. This is scheduled to be located just north of the Water Lily bridge on the east side of Meggison Rd.

Thank you. Now that I live down this way, it's great to know what's going to be built.
