It's been 40+ years, you'd think they're have it figured out by now, huh?

Or perhaps The Villages & the local businesses think being unreasonable to over 50% of The Villages population, isn't a smart thing to do.

How about banning non-residents?

Children under 25?

How about banning people over 80 or those with wheelchairs, walkers & mobility issues?

I'd be all in favor of banning line dancing and women of stout proportions, wearing spandex, lycra or yoga pants.

Why not just ban having more than 750 people in the squares at any one time and see if we can put everyone out of business.
OK....if any of the above are pooping or peeing in the square then I'm all for it!

Hi. I read your post and the part about banning spandex etc etc reminded me of a situation I am dealing with that perhaps someone on the site could help me with. For many years I owned my own company with offices in NYC and Miami. I had dozens of suits, the great majority Cerruti, Armani, Zegna, and Boss. I preferred the cap toe shoes with a double break leg length. For the first time in awhile I went to buy a couple of suits and am quite shocked by what I found (I guess I lead a sheltered life?). The suits today, same designers, now have pants that end at the ankle and are a bit tight and stretchy. I am in my late fifties. No one wants to see me in tight stretch "performance" suits. Does anyone have a location near TV where they sell decent suits for someone my age?

So right. Get rid of humans and dogs will get along just fine with out the "f'ing" humans.
So, do you identify as dog or "f'ing human"? Just curious.

It is not good for them.
“Not good for them” really? Some people have no clue. Your advice is wrong. Do you just make stuff up in your head that sounds good to you and post it?

The Villages is absolutely amazing. The worlds friendliest home town. Where Everybody claims they are pet friendly. But every day I see anti-pet post on here. I still believe you guys should go form your anti pets group since you guys like to bitch about pets so much.
It truly reminds me about somebody buying a house next to the freeway and then complaining about the freeway noise. Speaking of that somebody bought a house next to Sawgrass and now complaining about the music at sawgrass,
Just think of how great your life is if that’s your biggest complaint you have these days

40 years? Hardly. Actually even 10 years ago people didn’t bring their pets to public places. People knew better. And no, your stat of over 50% of Villagers own dogs is made up. If you need to bring your dog to the Squares, restaurants and stores, you need to seek psychiatric help.
We were at Sawgrass last weekend and some polite dog owners actually had their dogs sitting on the new cushion couches. After all, who doesn’t like some unwanted dog hair and feces from a dog’s butt to sit down and relax in? Simple rule: your dog, your home. People aren’t anti animal, they are anti rude people who don’t know when and where it’s proper to bring an animal.

People have been bringing dogs to public spaces a lot longer than 10 years ago and will continue to bring them to public spaces. My husband and I enjoy bringing our dog with us where he is allowed. If they are permitted, it is not rude! Don't like dogs in public spaces simple rule you can stay home!
