Default car seats in golf carts

Is it legal to take a toddler in a golf cart without a car seat?

Yes but stupid-a 20 lb infant @ 20 mph has more kinetic energy in ft lbs than anyone on the planet can restrain. if you have to transport a toddler take your car. its better to be safe than COOL

I would double check with Sumter county sheriff on legality, other wise I agree with above. I see this a few times a year, IMHO not a good idea.

Good answer! I wouldn't even consider it based on who all else is driving vehicles around TV.
