Default Bird Cage Screen Repain

I have one torn panel and four with holes. If you have had to have any panels replaced in the past how much did it cost.

We had one (roof) panel replaced a few years ago, $350, then after IAN which tore out 6 panels, we had all 33 (roof) panels replaced, cost was $2500 for all. The original screening was around 8 years old, and I was informed it was the wrong type for a roof panel. I could easily see the screening was getting brittle and this is why we replaced all of the panels.

I assume insurance covers this? If so and your panels are aging it would be a good time to replace all using the insurance money as part of the total cost as others have said?

I used T&D when I had to replace any panels. I finally used Todd's Screen to replace all my screening with Super Screen. Best move I made.

I did NOT use insurance to cover the cost of the panel replacement, not worth the potential rate increase.

It’s getting so self insurance seems the way to go. What good is it if you pay and never receive ANY benefits??

We also self paid for our screen replacement with Hurricane Irma. Ours was almost 8 years old.

You are going to have a 2% hurricane deductible so a $400,000 home would be $8,000. Don’t think it would be enough damage to make it worth a claim.

I've used A+ screens in the past (352-484-7926). Two levels of screens offered with a large price differential between standard and higher grade screen. Price included painting all the rafters. Since he did my whole lanai, price wouldn't be compatible to the quote that you are looking for but it was very reasonable for the work they did.
