Default Bath tub to walk-in shower conversion

Looking to have tub-shower unit in guest bathroom replaced with a walk-in shower/sliding glass doors. Any advice, warnings or recommendations?

Sounds good to me. If you have or might have a problem with raising your foot I would try and keep the lip as low as possible.
Consider the esthetics. Clear glass or a smoked or decorative sliding door.

River rock tile on the floor is a nice touch. If I were doing it I would try to do it without a door like a Roman shower. That will require a little concrete cutting or building up the bathroom floor a little so it will drain properly

I would agree if you can do a no door. My shower does not have a door so no cleaning the glass etc. Big plus.
If you ever needed a wheelchair or walker this could be another plus.
