Ex-New Yorker. In Florida, no emissions test. My car passed 9 years ago. Would it now? If, a collectable, expensive car, different issue. To drive it? It is roughly 24 hour drive to New York. You can easily look up the drive time to anywhere. Both the tolls and gas are way up from 9 years ago. Shared driving with a stranger? What was the name of that horror movie? |

Just wanted to say hi since we are in Beverly. We either drive down or rent a car if we fly. Cousins of our from Gloucester bought last year in The Villages. Good luck finding someone to get your car back north.

There are any number of car haulers that will pick up at your door and you'll pick up your car at a lot back home, or it will be delivered....just google car transports
my father-in-law had his car hauled up from Ft Lauderdale to Framingham for years don't hang anything in the back seat, and don't put anything in the the back seat that's over the top of the seats....as the truck driver needs to be able to see out the back window when he's backing your car of the rig my father in law always kept the spare tire & jack in the back seat....just in case....that way they didn't have to unload his trunk BTW, as long as you have FL plates on the car you don't have to worry about MA inspection stickers good luck |

I am planning on flying down for a couple weeks early this summer. If it’s a reliable car I would consider driving it back instead of flying. I live in western Mass, so if you or a friend could meet me there to pick it up that would work. PM me if interested.

Actually it's my son's car. He drove it here from Colorado, with his family. He and his family are sailing a boat from Florida to Gloucester where they will be living for the summer. So the car is here and we are looking to get it to Gloucester. I live in Upstate NY, and have used a local (to my place in NY) car transport company to get my car to TV in the winter, and back home in spring. |
