Default Another Wawa!

Wawa has plans for a store on the east side of 441 between Great Lakes Carpet & Tile and the cellphone tower - basically across 441 from Citizens First Bank and Dunkin' Donuts.

I don't recall this location being reported in any news media. Three other locations have been reported - 466 & 301, 466 & 441 and on 441 Leesburg.

I believe I am correct in saying that the neighbors in that immediate area went to the Town Hall Meeting to try to stop this WaWa. I don't think they were successful.

I would think the one on 466/301 is going to be very difficult to get in and out of, but this one will be a nightmare with the amount of traffic on this 441/466 intersection.

Very similar to a 7/11 or Stewart's. Very popular in NJ.

I bet you're not from the mid-Atlantic region? WaWa operates 700 locations in Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia. Until 2011 I lived in northeast Maryland next to I-95 and we had a WaWa as close as a Rec Center is here, plus just about every exit on I-95 had a WaWA.

The Villages Florida

Take a Race Trac or Circle K and double or triple the size. Have prepared subs and sandwiches better than you could get at Subway or order a sub to your liking using a touch-screen device. Buy gas at the pump cheaper than any other station in the county. Here's a typical WaWa and there were times I stopped going, waiting for a gas pump to clear is not uncommon.

Great news for me. I am a Coffee lover and (let me get my helmet on) Wawa coffee is better than Dunkin Donuts! The service is better to. You do it yourself. Gas prices a very good too.

Not very RV friendly - islands need to be at a 45 to the bulding (RV's have large fuel tanks and spend a lot at gas stations).

Nucky, Nucky, Nucky....perhaps better than Starbucks, but not better than Dunkin. Wash your mouth out with Valvoline.

P.s. Did I see you on the beach with Chris Christy yesterday? The young guy to his right?

And yes, Wawa has great gas prices. What do they charge for diesel though?

It took them a decade to move into Florida. I think you will see one sooner.

I agree, a wawa on 466A or 44 would be nice. They are super nice gas stores and they will bring some much needed completion to the area.

You're thinking of the one on 441, down at 466.

This location is on 441 in front of HarborChase. I don't think it has come before the Lady Lake Town Commission yet, which is probably why we haven't heard about it.
