Default Activities for guest?

Hi, I have a guest visiting this week. What activities would you recommend?

She is not a sports person so golf, pickleball, etc., are not options.

We are currently planning these activities: the Dali Art Museum in St Pete, a show at Savannah, the Strawberry Festival in Brownwood, and the town squares in the evenings.

Other thoughts? Thank you very much for your ideas!

Invite your friends here over for coffee and dessert in the evening. I think people who live here always have something interesting to add.

Hope your friend does not wear a hearing aid, as that has to be one of the noisiest places in town!

What interests do they have? Check the activities that they enjoy, might be a photo club, public discourse, astronomy, Apple etc. Whatever their interests are, there is a club or activity to engage. Don't forget the Kennedy Space Center, the Sharon, The Straz, Mantee viewing, short track stock car racing, The Carriage Museum in Wiersdale.... wait, sorry you said only a week here...lol. Don't forget to get them a guest ID so everything is available to them.

It depends on their interest and whether you want to show them life outside the bubble too. For off campus things, we've taken our guest to Mt. Dora to see some of the small towns around here. Another place we take guest is to the Homosassa Springs Wildlife park for the boat ride and walk to see the animals, birds, alligators, and manatees. Seems like all visitors want to see alligators and manatees when they cross the Florida state line. I also spend one day just driving around The Villages going from CR42 all the way down to Fenney with stops and a few of the Regional Rec Centers so they get a feeling of how nice it is here and how big this place really is.
