Five of us went to Stumpknockers in Dunnellon. First took the hr boat trip down the lazy river which was very enjoyable. We'd read some good things about Stumpknockers although someone on the boat trip had a bad comment. Despite this, we stayed for a late lunch. Three of the 5 of us had stomach issues after leaving the restaurant. Enough said?

So sorry to hear that... I have lived in Fl for 13 yrs. I have eatting there many time though out the yrs and Never heard of anyone getting ill... Maybe it was mind over matter after hearing the negative thing someone said!! I would try it again if I was you!! I thin (and many of my friends) it is the best place for cat fish and the escargo is the best!!!

I have had dinner at Stumpknockers on the River many times over the last 8 years and have never had any problems with my stomach after eating there.

I was there last night, the food was good as was the service. And, being that it was a Sunday night, it was not as crowded as a Friday or Saturday night.
