Default Villager owned Camper van rental

Thinking of renting a Sprinter Van or similar Class B for a month this summer. Is there any site to inquire about renting from another Villager? Just seems like a good fit if sitting unused here vs going through an online company. Thanks.

You're probably not going to have much luck in that endeavor. The online rental sites provide insurance to cover the owner and the renter. There is not an insurance company in the world who will cover a claim on an RV unless it is CLASSIFIED as a rental vehicle. I would never rent mine out without having the protections that the rental sites provide.

Agree with you. In addition, there are toooo many things that can go wrong with an RV. Away last couple of days and have had two minor issues with our coach. Was able to fix them but can't expect a "renter" to do the same. RV is a house on wheels with 3 different power sources and two different water sources,

Go to RV share. There are people who do rent all sizes of RV's and trailers,
